proper way to shut down Spyce web server

Besides starting up the Spyce web server in daemon mode via:

  python spyceCmd.py -l -d /var/run/spyce.pid

Is it also ok to do the following:

  nohup python spyceCmd.py -l &

and is there any difference ?


Is there a better / more graceful way to shut down the Spyce web
server besides using a 'kill' process id?
