As for your question, no, there isn't availableany version for Python
3.3 (at least not at vpython.org) . However, VPython 5.74 for Python 3.2
should be essentially identical to what your colleague is using.

Even the current VPython 6.05 for Python 2.7 will probably work as long as
you place the following statement at the start of the program:

from __future__ import division, print_function

The version of numpy is unlikely to make any difference.
