Testers required

Hi!

Over the last two months I have worked a lot on wxGlade to address the 
shortcomings that I listed this spring.
Most of the work is not visible to the outside, but still the usability 
should be much higher than before.

I would like to have two or three alpha/beta testers providing feedback 
on bugs and also on the user interface. Of course code contributions 
would be welcome as well.


After the initial setup for testing, I would suggest to use the mailing 
list for feedback and discussion. If this does not work out well, a 
switch to PMs might be necessary again.


For your information:

I'm only using wxPython 3.0.2 and Phoenix on Windows. I'm not sure 
whether there are users for the other languages. Certainly there are 
users on the other platforms. For all these I can only try to fix 
problems but usually not verify them myself.

The roadmap is:

  - get a stable version with bugs fixed
  - get wxPython Phoenix support ready for the Phoenix release
  - further improve internal structure towards maintainability
  - create a tutorial for wxGlade and wxPython newcomers
  - further improve usability
  - implement support for GridBagSizer
  - implement support for Ribbons
  - improve readability of the generated code
  - improve handling of user code and cooperation with external IDEs (-> 
develop wxGlade towards a RAD tool)
  - maybe change the user interface towards ribbons, property grid and a 
single frame instead of separate windows

Unfortunately the first three points need to be worked on in parallel as 
the third point will be quite time-consuming and needs to be started soon.
