Hi, thanks for your answer, I found the schematic of the active electrode and you are correct, the tip is for the 5V+. BTW you wrote "signal is carried through the wire which connects to the middle ring, and not the tip" followed by "So in Tip, Ring, Sleeve terms: Signal connects to tip and ground connects to sleeve." you meant "Signal connects to ring" I guess?
