Software for HRV-Training?

Hi,

is there any suitable software to use openEEG or Olimex EEG-SMT for
HRV-Training ("Heart rate variability")´?

I want to do HRV-Training on my own. I just started with a trainer, who
suggested to buy a "Qiu" (which looks at the pulse in the thumb with an
optical sensor). BUT:

Triggered by my hobby (electronics), I'd like to do buy the Olimex EEG-SMT
together with a suitable software for HRV. (I believe, it might be more
accurate than the optical sensor systems, and additionally, I'd like to
experiment with EEG-biofeedback, too.) Unfortunately, I cannot find any
suitable software, for this purpose. (Should be for free or less then ~100
Euro).

Do You know of any software which is (could be) used for HRV-Training with
openEEG or Olimex EEG-SMT?

My background:
* I can build/change hardware;
* Regarding software, I only know to program RUBY programming language.

Thank you in advance
Axel
