No, you can't make the EEG show up as anything but a serial port. The COM
port behavior is a hardware thing. Specifically, it's an FTDI chip. You'd
have to ask the user which COM port it is, similar to how the arduino
environment does on the older boards. In fact, it's the same chip, so you
could probably use a lot of the arduino's code.
