Hi, Try attaching the passive electrode to right leg? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Devasia Manuel" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, December 19, 2012 3:59:55 PM Subject: [Openeeg-list] Trouble with BrainBay ECG ecg3.con Hello, Could I please have some help? I'm having trouble getting BrainBay's ecg3.con (which measures my pulse) to work. Right now, I've got the EEG-SMT from Olimex hooked up to 4 Active Electrodes and 1 Passive Electrode, I've placed the passive electrode on my ear and Channel 2's active electrodes at position V1 and V2 (to the left and right of my heart). I am not using any gel and I think I am using a medium quality USB cable (should this make a significant difference?). The problem is that my pulse is being measured as '3800' (please see the attached picture).
