Re: Trouble with BrainBay ECG ecg3.con

I've got the Olimex device working for ECG  with Brain Bay quit well. What  
I did is:

* reduced the amplifier gain of the Olimex device roughly by a factor of  
4, by re-adjusting a potentiometer inside the housing.

* use Channel 1 and DRL only (DLR is important)

* connected CH2+, middle pin, to CH2-, middle pin and DRL, middle pin.

* I use these electrodes:

* CH1+ to my right wrist, CH2- and DLR to my left wrist (making the  
contacts wet, maybe even with salt, makes the start easier).

* I have to sit there without any movement and wait a minute until DLR  
settles (I think).

* made my own BrainBay design; a 50-Hz-Filter was a big improvement (you  
have to use a 60-Hz-filter, if you life in an area with 60 Hz mains  
frequency.)
