Hi All, I'm interested in brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). I'm working with the OpenEEG system (from Olimex) as well as a custom system that I've built. Currently, I'm aiming to build a BCI based on looking for Mu-waves from the sensorimotor cortex. This is a fairly standard technique...for those who might not be familiar, I've written some background here: http://eeghacker.blogspot.com/2013/10/mu-rhythms.html My question is: have any of you been successful in recording Mu waves? Where did you put your reference electrode and where did you put your "bias" (or "ground") electrode? I would appreciate any suggestions that you might have!
