Making good progress now... I made some movies that blink at two rates simultaneously. By choosing which blink rate to focus on, I can consciously control the frequency of the brainwaves that get entrained. I think that's pretty cool! As a result, I don’t have a chance of entraining brain waves at faster than 10 Hz. This is important if I plan on using this setup as the basis for BCI based on visual entrainment. It’s pretty cool what you can do with a $1.50 photocell. Chip From: Chip Audette Sent: Sunday, May 04, 2014 6:00 PM To: [email protected] Subject: More visual entrainment data I’ve resumed my exploratory work with visual entrainment...aka, steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP). I’m headed towards making Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) based on it. In my latest post, I’ve induced brainwaves at different frequencies using movies on my computer. If you’re interested, you can check it out here: http://eeghacker.blogspot.com/2014/05/visual-entrainment-blinking-screen.html I'm really excited for the next steps...two blinking frequencies at the same time. Has anyone else tried SSVEP for use as a BCI? Chip ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Is your legacy SCM system holding you back?
