Algorithms for detecting Alpha waves

Hello All,

I've recently collected some EEG data of some simple eyes-closed Alpha rhythms.  I'm using this data as an exercise to explore different signal processing and signal detection approaches.  I'm starting very simply...an energy detector.  I'll get more complicated as I continue the analysis.
