You are emailing the wrong list.  This mailing list is about MPB; for Meep 
you should use meep-discuss.

As a practical matter, however, probably easier to compute slab band 
structure with MPB than with Meep, especially for a triangular lattice. 
(See the meep-discuss archives for some discussion of how to handle 
triangular lattices.)
