Rotating the unit cell

Dear mpb users,
How to rotate the unit cell of square or triangular
lattice.I tried in two ways
1.Changing the basis vector in accordance with
the rotation angle (no effect in the epsilon distribution)
2.Setting the axis to the lattice like setting
axis to the structure(not working anyway).
can anyone give suggestion regarding the rotation of an unit cell?
