Compiling problem + FARADAY APT & YUM REPO + BUGS

Hi Everybody,

COMPILATION:

./configure --with-python-numeric-path=%{_includedir}/python%(%{__python} -c 
"import sys ; print sys.version[:3]")/Numeric

solves the compilation problem (arrayobject.h missing), at least on FC3. You 
can also specify the python-numeric path manually but the above line has the 
advantage that it uses python to provide the path to the currently installed 
version.

FARADAY APT & YUM REPO:

There's a APT and YUM repo (Grifo Project) at 
http://faraday.fc.up.pt/ayo/grifo
( http://faraday.fc.up.pt/ayo points to a project discription in portuguese)

Current Scigraphica RPM and SRPM packages are available and the SPEC files are 
considerably cleaner than the ones that come with the original sources, 
thanks to José Matos ([email protected]).

APT CONFIGURATION:

For FC3 add the following line to /etc/apt/sources.list or to a new .list file 
in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

rpm http://faraday.fc.up.pt/ayo/grifo/ i386/3 griffin testing
rpm-src http://faraday.fc.up.pt/ayo/grifo/ i386/3 griffin testing

Then run:
	apt-get update && apt-get install scigraphica


YUM CONFIGURATION:

Put the following lines in a file griffin.list at /etc/yum.repos.d/

[Griffin]
name=Griffin (Airo) - $releasever - $basearch
baseurl=http://faraday.fc.up.pt/ayo/grifo/$basearch/$releasever/RPMS.griffin/
gpgcheck=0


Then run: 
	yum install scigraphica



BUGS:

When navigating worksheets there's a UTF8 error related to pango. The content 
of the cells gets spoiled and you cannot reenter the values

When I managed to enter some values successful I tried to make a plot. I get 
segfault after choosing the dataset
