Problem with numpy on 2.1.1

Hi,

I have successfully compiled libscigraphica 2.1.1 and scigraphica 2.1.0
on a system running TWWfsw (The Written Word free software) but have a
problem during starup, that scigraphica hangs on loading the numpy
module. TWWfsw offer quite a horrible framework for users to compile
tools and I have little hope in getting anything but python 2.3.5

I want to try to find out why scigraphica hangs on this particular
place. Any idea how to start debugging?
