You will need numarray, and I don't know about possible sideeffects if you=

have both numeric *and* numarray installed.

I have currently reported some bugs on bugs.gentoo.org [1,2] regarding this=
=20
point. Also, on Gentoo we have pygtk compiled against numeric...

I changed ebuilds to build pygtk against numarray, and all seems to work.

I will have a look at it, but surely not into the next mounth as I *really*=
=20
struggling with my deploma thesis right now... ;)
