Can you tell me what version of sg you are using? did you save the plots 
using the same version or a previous version? Which one? I can tell you 
that I haven't had many problems in this regard (only with plots saved 
using older versions), but I'm willing to help you with this matter. Try 
the simplest plot that you can make that breaks sg, and send it to me 
and we'll see where the problem is.
