This is odd, the problem doesn't seem to be in libscigraphica or
gtkplotart.c, it's rather some issue with gtk+ (in gtktextbuffer.h). I
haven't had any problems with FC4 and gtk+-2.6.7. What version are you
using? I think it could be a bug in gtk+-2.7.x that was fixed in 2.8.
