Dear Developers: As a grad. student in science getting ready to write a thesis and a number of papers which will include graphs, I wanted to take SciGraphica for a spin. On a clean install of RedHat 9, using ./compile --prefix=/usr, make, make install for each, Numeric-23.0 gtk+extra-0.99.17 scigraphica-0.8.0 compile and install just fine, but upon running scigraphica: Program splash screen comes up, dissapears SciGraphica: untitled.sg worksheet window comes up Then an Error window comes pops up with the message: Segmentation fault Project successfully saved to "/home/...../#rescue#untitled.sg" Please submit a bug report, etc., etc. Finding the problem is seems a daunting task for a novice programmer - can you point me in the right direction? I have my suspicions: incompatible gtk+ libraries? Numeric python not compatible with my installed version? versions that come with RedHat 9: gtk+-1.2.10-25 python-2.2.2-26 Thanks for any help you can give.
