Hi Adrian,

I am using gentoo linux which right now includes gtk+-2.6.7. The same version is 
installed locally (with the debug symbols in it).

Cool! The widget really looks like the thing I need in buzztard 
(http://www.buzztard.org).
A few more questions (sorry if they are FAQs).
#1) Any reason the doc is not using gtk doc? I can offer some help with 
gtk-docize it.
#2) Can I put own widgets into cells/headings?
#3) Is there something like the filter of the GtkTreeView? I currently use that 
to skip the display of some line. Or can lines/columns be 'folded in' (made 
invisible).
