ANNOUNCE: GtkExtra-2 released!

Hi everybody! The long awaited day has arrived, and GtkExtra is 
officially available for download from the sourceforge repository. The 
changes after all these years are so many that I lost track of them. 
However, you'll notice that the API has not changed much.

Some changes that come to my mind right now are:

- Plot axes are objects now: GtkPlotAxis
- GtkPlotCanvas items have been widgetized and you can easily create 
your own.
- Plot gradients are independent objects now and can be shown in 
different positions and orientations, and you can define your own colors 
and levels.
- object properties have been defined.
