gtkextra-3 in CVS

Hi all,

Sorry for the long silence. As it turns out, I've been quietly working 
to fix and improve things in gtkextra
I just uploaded the code under gtkextra-3.

There are a few things that need to be done:
- Improve documentation
- Improve the bootstrap/autogen.sh script
- Add internationalization

An update on latest developments:
- I fixed some bugs
- I added cairo support
- gtkiconfilesel is discontinued in favor of the new gtk file selection 
dialog

Before releasing I need to:
- Fix a subtle silly thing with gtkiconlist
- Maybe improve the plotting algorithms for contour and density plots.

Before releasing, I'll wait for people to submit bug reports and feature 
requests.
