I see, there must be a bug then. This message appears some 18 or 19 times in a single call to "paint" on a plot canvas with only one plot. It appears under Windows, and not under Linux. (scala:2088): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 1338 (g_object_unref): assertion `object->ref_count > 0' failed. Also I set the plot on the canvas not selectable, but when I click on it with the left mouse button this message appears: WARNING: **: Couldn't load font "helvetica Medium 12" falling back to "Sans Medium 12". However I have changed the font for everything, so I don't use helvetica anymore. Also don't understand why it wants to load the font for that mouse click. Another change I noticed is that "show_all" on the dialog doesn't show the plot anymore, one has to call "paint" and then "refresh".
