Known bug in the win32 version of Gtk+, see
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=111028

You need to create a pango.alias file (helvetica is herd-coded into
GtkExtra). Mine looks like this:

times="times new roman"
helvetica="arial"
avantgarde="tahoma"
bookman="book antiqua"
courier="courier new"
newcenturyschlbk="calisto mt"
palatino="book antiqua"
zapfchancery="lucida sans"

Pass.

Cheers,

Ali.
