Hi! If you want to get the latest gtkextra-1 you have to do

cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/gtkextra co gtkextra

or, if you want gtkextra-2

cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/gtkextra co 
gtkextra-2

It works for me here. If it doesn't for you, please send a copy of the 
error message you get, but you shouldn't have problems if you follow the 
instructions in sourceforge.
(I've just tried it, and it works for me)
