Thank you Al! I'm planning to release both gtkextra and gtkextra-2 at 
the same time. They both have practically the same API. I'm planning to 
discontinue support for gtkextra-1 after that, and focus on gtkextra-2. 
The main problem I have right now is with he pango support for fonts. 
It's almot ready, after some exchange of emails in the gtk-i18n list I 
learned quite a bit. For instance, I had to upgrade to the cvs version 
of xfs because of a known bug. This troubles me, the more you deppend on 
other libraries, the more vulnerable you become. All I need at this 
stage is some testing with gtkpsfont (testgtkfont). I'am going to commit 
the latest changes after this e-mail. I would appreciate any help or 
advice with this. Thank you!,
