Here's what I really want to do: I want to be able to find a way to
automate reconciling different author name variants - without having to
do a search for every author name, and making corrections manually in
each citation. Remember that APA appends the initials in in-text
citations if CWYW cannot detect that two authors are actually the same
one. I have almost 2000 citations in my main library, and this aspect of
it is becoming cumbersome.
