Endnote and Word 2008

Hello All,

I was unaware of the incompatibility issue between EndnoteX1 and Word
2008 for Mac.  I would like to know if anyone has attempted to uninstall
Office 2008, or reinstall Word 2004 alone, or other temporary solutions
to this issue.  The CWYW feature is one of the primary reasons I use
Endnote.

Any advice is welcome.
