Hi Frank,
Endnote 9 does actually cope with Unicode (non ascii) characters, but I
cannot recall how to fix the import issues. Perhaps you could contact
tech support.

Subject: import filter and non-ascii characters

To my disappointment I found that EndNote 9 doesn't import non-ascii
characters : neither does RIS nor proCite Ris nor Refer/BibIX nor
BibTex. I got records in French, German and other European languages,
collected them with Zotero (which is more easy to handle when collecting
data from the web), and now exported them into EndNote 9. The non-ascii
characters are not well imported.
Is there any work around ?

Regards,
F. Thomas
