Mike; The procedure is described in the "Help" section under "Sharing Your Reference Type Table." I've done it successfully several times. For your own migration purposes, it doesn't matter that it overwrites existing (default) preferences, but it's good to remember to rename the existing preferences if you're collaborating with someone! I recall in the past having to move a particular file from the old to the new computer, but I can't find anything like that in the manual.
