Otherwise it is just like a clear text password, just a *little* bit harder to filter out! My wish would be a sip/rtp proxy built in to the state mechanism. It would certainly be a big undertaking, but it es exactly the right place to solve this problem, with security in mind! Something like the radio proxy. I also belong to the group interested in ip-filter on Linux. In my case mostly on SuSE. Regards: Håkan
