VMWare m0n0 NIC setup?

I have always ran the basic PC hardware m0n0 boxes, but I am getting tired
of them dying every 3 years...  ;-)  So I want to move to virtual.

 

However I just don't quite understand it...  I have a PC with the two NIC's
in it, The VMware image fires up fine, but... now what?

 

ipconfig shows 192.168.249.1 and 192.168.49.1 or something similar, I would
like my m0n0 on the default 192.168.1.1  what do I have to do to make it
work?

 

The hardware is Intel and Realtek, m0n0 VM ware shows them as em0 and em1
... I am guessing this is normal...  I have clicked on bind to other
adaptors etc..

 

anyone have a simple how to for this?
