Wow,

I got it, just use my old laptop with XP on it and itworked. I uses windows
2010 before. Logged in as admin, and got that error. But with windows XP, it
worked ok.

I had the same problem. You have to run a DOS window as Admin, and the USB
stick must not have any partitions on it. Delete the existing FAT or NTFS
partition first with your Windows Disk Manager.
I used the generic-pc-1.32 image.

Is the CF image the same as the Generic PC image? I Use only 32MB Old USB
Drive.

Can you tell me what GUI tool you are using to copy the image to the USB? I
used the physdiskwrite.exe tool and it always returns error.

I did it with the normal CF image. I think there is a limitation regarding
the size. First time I tried it with a 100 GB USB HDD, it didn't load the
image up and came up with a fault. Second time I used a 1 GB USB Stick and
that worked well. I used that GUI tool to install the image and that doesn't
return any errors, so use the CLI if you want to make sure that it had been
copied correctly.
I dumped Monowall again because of the VPN issues with Dynamic DNS. I need a
stable VPN with two AVM Fritz boxes behind dyndns and that is not achievable
with Monowall. Unfortunately. Because I think it's great otherwise.

Have you tried just following the instructions for CF installation?
That's where I would start, then make sure your BIOS is set to boot from the
USB device. I did a FreeNAS install on USB once, and I think that's how I
did it.
