adsl bridge

I have set up an adsl bridge using my dlink adsl router. However SW is saying
my red interface has an ip add of 1.1.1.1.1 mask 255.255.255.255 after
pressing the connect button the ip add is the same but i am however able to
access the internet. I cannot though access the web admin page of the router
eg 192.168.X.X . To remedy this situation i have to  SSH into SW and change
the networking from pppoe to DHCP and change back to pppoa with internal dhcp
on the router.  Also when i do a scan from grc.com the HDD light goes crazy,
so the SW is the first point of contact in ppoe with net bridge but with not a
valid red ip add
