RE: Computer forensics training

My question is,  is it more helpful to have the degree or the certification=
 in order to get a job in the field?

I have a history of getting certificates in various things, but not being t=
o get a job in the chosen field.

Before I invest time and funds in to either education or training I want to=
 make sure that I can earn back my investment.

Hello everyone.

I have 15 years in the field of software QA and am now interested in
computer forensics.  I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer
Science already.  I am looking for training, preferably at the university
level, for computer forensics as my company will pay for university courses=
.
Anything physically close to the Portland, Oregon area would be great.
Anything online would also be good.

Anyone who would like to share their experiences of how they were trained i=

this field would also be welcomed.  Maybe university training is not the
best for this subject matter.
