What do you earn an hour? --> How many hours do you have to work to pay the
price of a single-seat AV license?

wouldn't it adhere more closely to esr's hacker howto to pitch in on an
open-source AV project and help the community than it does to reinvent the
wheel (and keeping it for yourself) by implementing extremly simple filters
in your outlook? Isn't your productive coding time worth more than
implementing a funktion that's been done by others many times?

but that doesn't mean i don't wish i had the kind of time on my hands to
spend a few days implementing spam filters directly in outlook with vba -
probably very interesting.
particularly considering all the other things i would have done by then ...
