Organized flood of the IIP network.

Hello, all! :)
I am interested in organizing a mass flood of the iip network with flood
bots. The flood will probably take place some time between 12:00 - 16:00 UTC
since those appear to be the hours when IIP has the least traffic. But I need
help!
I need volunteers who have a broadband connection (cable, DSL, etc. ... a T1
will do fine ;-) ). The plan is simple. Once I have enough volunteers I set a
date and specific time. At that time, the flood army will arm their bots and
have them all join #flood and start spewing out general garbage. The bots
will NOT register with trent. This flood will go on for about 30 minutes or
so. The idea is to try and take down the network itself. Once the flood is
complete, I'll write up a results summary to the iip-dev mailing list.
The idea behind this is to stress test the IIP network. Also, once we release
IIP 1.2 we can do this again and compare the results. It will be interesting
to see the comparison.

But enough of theory. If you have a broadband internet connection, then I
would be much obliged to have your help. You can contact me at
[email protected], or via anonymail sent to "Hezekiah". Also, if
anyone has a nice flooding bot, if you could send me the code or a URL to
where I can get it, I'd be appreciative.

Lastly, I'd like to emphasize that this will be a polite experiment. We will
not try to affect the other people on the network more than necessary to
complete the test. (So while we might bring the network down, we are NOT
going to do unnecessarily mean things like flood #anonymous or register
umpteen million bots with trent.) This test should be as considerate to the
freedoms of others as possible.

I thank all who are willing to help in advance.
