I have never had time to chat. So I am still learning. And I have now the chance of starting with a state of the art technollogy. IIC! I always use to study by translating all the text into Spanish that is my mother tongue. So I am now submitting the Spanish translation of your help file and your starting text file. The zipped file is 27 Kb. Let me be sincere. I haven't found in the help file what I was needing to start with Chatzilla and IIC. I explain myself: I have worked for 20 years programming simple systems in Assembler, Basic, Dbase III, etc. Now I am learning JAVA, and the server side PHP and Perl. I am also learning how to work with my GNU-Linux Mandrake 9. My translated words are non-schollastics- Just everyday words, read/heard to others, used or imagined a translation by me since there are still not a common way of naming such things in Spanish. But I guess that could be understood, since I also understood nearly all what I was translating. But I was looking in the help file to find a way of starting using chatzilla because there is no place explaining what must people do after getting a registered nick at the localhost server. I still have my first chatzilla connection (the one I used to ask the localhost to let me in). And I imagine that I should forget that connection in order to achieve my desired anonymity. I am new at chatting, as I said. But it would help a lot if someone with a certain experience in chatting could extend a little more the chatzilla example at your site. What is also not so clear, is: * why is it the future of IRC to become anonymous in this way (some examples in comparison with a common IRC). * where could we go when starting with IIC (after #anonymous)? * is there a way of connecting an Instant Messenger to this (I translated something about it but it was just mentioned)? * could people suggest to change to IIC when they are chatting about something confidential? * all the registration of the users occur inside of the chat or is there another place the one should go, after downloading the IIC? I am going to find out all these by myself. I am expressing these newbie questions as suggestions to help your promotion of your project by having a lot of documentation. If I am able to write some of my experience (ENG-SPA) in learning all these I am going to let you know. I like very much all this and as soon as I get using it I am going to contact others to suggest them to use it also. Please, let me know if you need any other thing translated into Spanish (I could do it in my spare time). Good luck. _____ 8c - Alberto Adrián Schiano - __/~\__ -=( [email protected] )=- (((\_/))) -LINUX Counter # 240133 #- _) (_ "come_get_my_XML-JAVA-Ebook4FREE4yourDailyThought"
