Basic local only Python router done!

I'm revising the readme & kickstart doc at the moment and I'd like some
help with prerequisites and usage instructions for the python local only
router - what version of python is necessary, from where and how are
any third party libs installed, and how do I run the router?  

If Hezekiah is out of town already, perhaps Jeremiah knows?
