Correction, I am talking about a Pulsar card! The Solos only has the 
driver and cli utility and is irrelevant to this issue.

Dear God! I think I will quit trying to use webmail from work computers 
to try to respond. I make a mess of the list every time.

Anyway, I haven't come up with anything meaningful yet. The Pulsar 
worked fine in 1.4 up to 1.4.23cvs.
