Last I looked the Alix.2d13 has 256 MiB.
As soon as stuff is stored in /ram and/or /tmp that means less memory 
available for system and services.

Maybe not. Especially log files can and will (by design) influence RAM 
on Flash installations. So those should be monitored closely.

Make sure the web proxy has 0 for memory and disk cache, and keep 
logging disabled.
