I do hope you mean weeks (iow since the update to 2.1.8), if not 
something else might be wrong.

Trouble was that lease renew was reported as a new/changed lease by 
dhcpcd.  That normally would not matter, but in our case triggers a 
rc.red stop start sequence.

Yes, actually it is a pity that I do not have enough time at the moment 
to push v2.2.0 forward. That includes your comments about installer and 
kernel modules the other week. I'll get back to that someday.
