Position: Security Consultant
Location: Dallas, Texas, United States
Type: Contract

IT SECURITY CONSULTANT NEEDED FOR CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY
Responsibilities:
Will provide IT Security consulting to multiple clients, including external attack and penetration testing, internal security threat and vulnerability assessments, network security reviews (Windows 2000, XP, Windows 2000 Server, Unix), perimeter defense reviews and more.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements and desired skills:
- 10+ years general business experience
- 5+ years IT audit experience
- Strong IT security and technical experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Security testing products such as Critical Watch, ISS Scanner, Web Inspect, and Nessus preferred
- Firewalls, router hardening, security appliances (SPAM, Anti-Virus/Anti-Spyware/Policy Content Filtering), Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, and Network Security Monitoring (NSM) facilities
- Security reviews of LANs/WANs/VPNs
- Operating knowledge of technical frameworks such as ISO 17799 and ITIL
- Experience developing Security Policies and Procedures
