The VP  - Service Continuity & Integration will be charged with bringing together disparate compliance/governance groups  into a coherent  function to ensure risk is managed such that the business can continue at all times.

The position has the following functions (in summary) :

•	BCP Summary:  Manage the GBCM (Global Business Continuity Management) program.  The GBCM team provides oversight and governance of the enterprise BCP programs managed by the BCP coordinators within the Line of Business.  Oversight activities include review of testing, refreshing BCP requirements, guidelines and templates.  Coordination and communication of GBCM Rating by LOB with each BCP Sponsor for annual Operational Risk Control rating.  Manage Business Impact Analysis (BIA) as an ongoing certification in order to maintain the list of critical business processes across the enterprise.  Work directly with Regulators on an annual (or as required) basis.

•	DR Summary:  Manage the DR (Global Disaster Recovery) program.  The DR team provides oversight and governance of the enterprise DR programs managed by the DR coordinators within the Solution Delivery functions.  Oversight activities include review of testing, refreshing DR requirements, guidelines and templates.  Coordination and communication of DR Rating by LOB with each DR Sponsor for annual Operational Risk Control rating.  Manage Business Impact Analysis (BIA, together with BCP Director) as an ongoing certification in order to maintain the list of critical business processes across the enterprise.  Work directly with Regulators on an annual (or as required) basis.

•	Business "t" Summary:  Manage the  (Global Business "t" Management) program.  The Business "t" team provides oversight and governance of the enterprise business "t" programs managed by the business "t" coordinators within the technology solution delivery functions as well as the Line of Business .  Oversight activities include review of testing, refreshing business "t" requirements, guidelines and templates.  Coordination and communication of business "t" Rating by LOB with each Sponsor for annual Operational Risk Control rating. Work directly with Regulators on an annual (or as required) basis.

IT Integration of new business acquisitions/separations: Program manages the technology Infrastructure components (Mainframe, EUC, mid range, networks) of all new business acquisitions and business divestments. Manages complex projects to meet SLA's and delivery deadlines. Define the future strategic direction for the absorbed services and infrastructure by building overall business plans, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems, as it relates to the company's competitive position.

Integrate IT service continuity management with and base it on a thorough risk analysis and strong process adherence.

Integrate IT service continuity management into a strong Business Continuity Planning process. Key measure is the reduction in lost time to recover service (determine and define test methods to qualify and validate).

Link IT service continuity management to both availability and incident management. 

Reduction in the number of unforeseen breakdowns and disasters thru effective early warning systems

Continuous communication and awareness building, regular review and auditing (for compliance) of the plan and procedures and continuous training of all employee's involved in essential disaster recovery, business "t" and business continuity testing.

Governance and delivery of service continuity programs across US domestic and all 120+ International markets. 

Integration or separation of Technology Infrastructure and services resulting from business acquisitions or divestments. 
•	EUC requirements to ensure transitioning employees have appropriate tools and connectivity, including PC's, blackberrys messaging.
•	IT infrastructure migration to migrate hardware and software to the company’s infrastructure including mid-range and mainframe systems.
•	Ensure  all Security process's and systems are fully integrated 
•	Focus on planning, coordination, strategy, and execution of all program and project management activities associated with these multiple, large scale and global initiatives.

Delivery of business focused solutions with a strong matrix engagement - CISO, CTO and finance functions.




JOB REQUIREMENTS

Service continuity Critical Knowledge/skills needed:

Candidate needs to have a good understanding of business process and program governance with broad enterprise wide LOB knowledge.  Relationship and strong communication skills are a must.  Need to be able to lead by influence LOB BCP/DR/Business "t" programs.  Good facilitation skills since not only LOB integration and alignment key, but being able to manage both BCP and DR programs to better integrate the business with technologies to drive better solutioning by the business.  Some BCP experience or BCP certification preferable.

Management Skills

This executive is a strong leader with a pragmatic but focused approach to technology integration and systems management. This individual will be a key management team member for the technology infrastructure group and will need to work with networking, data center, end user computing, and mainframe & storage technology executives to craft a cohesive strategy for infrastructure and services.

Strategy and Execution Skills

This VP should demonstrate a proven ability to deliver complex strategic initiatives and development programs. Should be an outstanding performer in a dynamic organization regarded for superior service. Intellectually creative, the new VP has a track record of focusing on core business issues, helping to set strategic direction based upon technical competencies of the organization and opportunities in the marketplace – and then delivering the appropriate operating environment to meet strategic imperatives.

Technology Skills 

This VP must have subject matter expertise and proven direct experience with successful optimization and consolidation efforts and associated economic model. Having extensive leadership skills as VP, the selected candidate will participate and facilitate complex decisions across multiple business groups on long term enterprise infrastructure strategy. 


The incumbent will have to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment within a global team, and must be flexible enough to support different roles as needed. The candidate must be a strong leader in order to work successfully with multiple technology and business organizations.

Additionally:
•	Hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience. 
•	Has 10+ years of IT and business/industry work experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role and 7 years managing projects and significant programs that are transformational in nature and require cross-functional coordination at the Company.
•	Must demonstrate strong leadership and exceptional partnering skills including ability to contract with and influence with and without authority at all levels, within the technology organization, across the company  and within third party organizations
•	Demonstrated ability to provide strategy, vision and business direction, including providing counsel and leadership on future use of technology and business process improvements
•	Excellent planning and organizational skills. Candidate must have the ability to support multiple concurrent activities and programs
•	Strong decision and collaboration skills and ability to motivate teams rapidly from concept to execution with aggressive timeframes
•	Proven ability to identify and prioritize business initiatives; develop execution plans in a complex environment; manage budgets, resolve issues, advise Business/Technology groups in a consulting manner
•	Experience in acquisition and integration if technology services and infrastructure
Salary is $150K plus bonus - will relocate
