Department Description    The US Federal Governments Markets Division is the premier, compliant supplier of world-class, wireless voice and data communications solutions to the U.S. Federal Government. The Systems Engineering department is a core team member of the USFGMD Systems Integration (SI) group and is responsible for supporting the SI charter of designing, implementing and integrating complex systems sold worldwide 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations    Provide leadership and guidance within the division, with a focus on product/system IA compliance for Motorola’s portfolio of wireless communications solutions. 
Responsibilities include: 
•Serve as the Division Technical Information Assurance lead with Federal customer IA and IT Managers and technical IA certification teams to understand and define customer IA requirements.
•Interface with Motorola Architecture and Product Groups to ensure customer IA requirements are addressed in system roadmaps and product development
•Interface with all elements of the Motorola IA community as the Federal Division representative for all IA requirements, issues, processes and initiatives
•Work closely with the Federal Engineering team to develop IA solutions to meet customer specific IA requirements
•Develop IA Technical Risk Mitigation measures and strategies
•Continuously review changes to applicable Federal IA policies (e.g. DIACAP, FISMA, DCID, NIAP) against Motorola product roadmaps to determine gaps
•Support revision of staging, implementation, documentation and servicing processes to promote efficient, complaint IA solutions
•Communicate IA related process, procedure, testing, C&A information to divisional teams
•Participation in Field and/or Customer issue resolution and support activities as required
   
  
Specific Knowledge/Skills    Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract
•Minimum of 5 years direct experience in supporting various Information Assurance aspects, with at least 2 years specific experience with DITSCAP/DIACAP evaluation and certification 
•Excellent English language communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) 
•Demonstrated ability to lead other technical staff in completing work assignments in accordance with defined quality objectives and deadlines; 
•Demonstrated ability to measure, analyze and improve personal and organizational methods and processes; 
•Demonstrated knowledge/expertise in areas supporting Information Assurance disciplines: Vulnerability assessment and Compliance monitoring, Network, Platform, Application and Database security, Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS and HIDS/NIDS technologies, Cryptography, Identity and Access management, Disaster recovery/Business continuity, development of Information Assurance Policies and Standards. 
•Demonstrated knowledge/expertise in Network Architectures, Protocols and Programming (IP, UDP, Multicast IP, IGMP, etc.); 
•Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise-level IT systems, IP data networks, IP network security and connectivity gateways; 
•Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is highly desirable 
•Demonstrated knowledge/experience with DoD 8500.2 and FIPS 800 standards and certification and Accreditations procedures; 
•Demonstrated knowledge in AAA (e.g. Windows Active Directory, Radius)
