Type:           Permanent F/T

As manager within the Secure Web software development team, this individual will be responsible for day-to-day management and direction of the products group which includes a team of engineers who are collectively responsible for all aspects of our Secure Web SmartFilter and related products. Candidate will be a focal point for all software project coordination within the team including project scheduling, tracking, and resource prioritization. Role includes working with other areas of company including system test, quality, technical publications, customer support, sales, and marketing to ensure successful software release cycles. Other duties include tracking of project hours, generation of periodic reports, execution of project postmortems, and misc. process documentation and improvement. 


JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
5 years relevant experience in project management in network security or a closely related field.
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Position requires strong communication skills with a background in software development and/or software project and release management.

Preferred Skills 

Candidate should possess some familiarity with internet software technologies such as HTTP, HTML, XML, etc.

A general background or interest in software installation/setup, information technologies, networking, or application development/testing a plus.
