In the Risk, Continuity and Security team within Nokia IT we are responsible of driving operational risk, continuity & security management within IT and providing related services globally. We are now looking for a Senior Specialist in the field of information security to join our team.
 
In this role you will be working in Nokia's IT Security Incident Response Team. Your daily work includes security consulting, security incident response, as well as supporting our core information security systems. Moreover you will work as an internal consultant towards business units and Nokia IT projects; and take part in further development and improvement of our services.
 
Working with our IT and its collaborators, you will see your ideas put to practice while helping IT to deliver optimal services for the Nokia Business.
 
To succeed in this role, you have a broad in depth understanding of security solutions. Your background is in related development and implementation of technical solutions, application security or investigation of security incidents. You have a solid understanding of IT security, related methodologies and technologies.
 
It will be an advantage if you have experience in security consulting and computer security incident response. You possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security.
 
To enhance your trade skill, you have a proactive attitude towards your work and the confidence to complete tasks independently. You are happy to take responsibility to achieve defined objectives, even when outside your comfort zone. To interact effectively you have excellent communication skills in English. You are experienced with working in a multicultural environment and manage tasks remotely. The position requires some traveling.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities of the role require participation to a wide range of IT consulting engagements as related to IT information security:
- Consultant to Nokia business and Nokia IT projects
- Security Incident Response Team member
- Periodical vulnerability assessments and associated remediation activities
- Service development and maintenance

A minimum of 3 years IT information security skills and experience required & a degree in a related discipline:
- 3+ years experience with designing and implementing network security solutions
- A solid understanding of perimeter and internal security monitoring of the IT environment
- Experience of developing security operations procedures and controls
- Hands-on experience with intrusion detection/protection systems and security enterprise management systems
- Experience of identifying, monitoring and investigating computer and network intrusions
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in computer security incident response
- Experience of profiling network traffic to detect possible intrusions from inside or outside networks
- Demonstrated proficiency in tools, techniques and countermeasures in network vulnerabilities
- Demonstrated ability to conduct vulnerability testing and analysis of computers and networks
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, networking design, routing architectures, network security systems and protocols
- Working knowledge of UNIX and Windows systems security
