--------------------------------------------------- SECURITYFOCUS JOBS - NEW OPPORTUNITY --------------------------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------- Position: Manager, Information Security Location: London, , United Kingdom Type: Contract Closing Date: 2008-10-12 HEAD OF DATA INTEGRITY (London) Security Cleared Daily rate: £ Negotiable, inclusive of expenses Contract Type: 9 months Responsible for managing the Data Integrity Workstream which provides advice on all matters relating to data integrity, information assurance and physical security. The role leads in planning and delivering products and advice on these aspects of delivery as part of the senior management team reporting directly to the Programme Manager. • Oversight of data integrity (Data Protection, FoI, security) risks, issues, plans, milestones and dependencies at project and programme level. • Lead for the articulation of Data Protection and Security risks and issues management/mitigation in order that the business can sign off the residual risks. • Lead the production of, and ensuring coherence between, the Accreditation Documentation Sets for constituent parts of the programme • Lead engagement with external bodies for the security elements of the Information exchange protocols • Oversight / management of budgeting and finance of the team. • Lead dependency and assumption management affecting data integrity across the programme • Lead advice to programme on all matters data integrity – ensuring advice is coherent across the various strands • Lead the monthly Data Protection and Security Working Group Key deliverables/timescales Data Protection and FOI assurance to Programme deliverables Information Assurance for IT delivery Physical security and DP advice and policy development JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Security Clearance: Must currently hold, or be able to attain UK Security Clearance: SC minimum, DV preferred. • Very effective stakeholder management in a multi-agency/organisation environment. • Successful delivery of the security aspects of classified government systems. • Working knowledge of HMG IA Standards, CESG memoranda and GSi/CJX requirements. • Sound knowledge of Data Protection Act and Freedom of Information procedures • Proven track record • Project Management skills CONTACT --------------------------------------------------- Applicants must be authorised to live and work in the UK.
