--------------------------------------------------- SECURITYFOCUS JOBS - NEW OPPORTUNITY --------------------------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTION --------------------------------------------------- Position: Security Consultant Location: Central New Jersey, New Jersey, United States Type: Permanent P/T Closing Date: 2008-12-09 Program Manager - International=0D =0D Our client, a rapidly-growing developer and integrator of physical secur= ity systems, including perimeter security, security video (CCTV, DVR) and= access control, is seeking a Program Manager for its Central NJ office. = =0D =0D This position will require up to 50% travel, most of it to the Middle Eas= t.=0D =0D General Position Summary:=0D =0D The Product Manager position requires a bachelors degree in Construction = Management or Electrical Engineering or related discipline - MBA or PMI c= ertified preferred – combined with 5+ years experience in a role as = project manager with programs worth $3- 5 MM in the telecom or defense in= dustries working with multi-disciplined teams.=0D =0D Major Responsibilities & Tasks:=0D =0D Accountabilities:=0D This key position will be responsible for a series of Security/Defense In= dustry projects and coordination internal development activities. The rol= es are summarized as follows:=0D =0D Project Management: The position is responsible for managing an engineeri= ng and construction project throughout its full life-cycle. This includes= front-end bid response, project planning, estimating, and project schedu= le creation & construction coordination. The role is key in providing ove= rsight through all stages of the project to ensure that each phase is exe= cuted efficiently, effectively, and in concert with our construction part= ners. This position is primarily responsible for cost and schedule perfor= mance of each assigned project reporting to upper management. Projects ma= y be deliverable to internal or external customers requiring high degree = of coordination and negotiation with end user. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Job Specifications:=0D Knowledge:=0D =0D · Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Electrica= l Engineering. =0D · MBA or PMI certified preferred=0D =0D Experience:=0D =0D · 5+ years experience in a role as senior project manager = with programs worth +$5M in the telecom or defense industries working wit= h multi-disciplined teams.=0D =0D · Excellent organizational and project management skills.=0D =0D · Demonstrated knowledge of setting up and working with SO= W, WBS, work plans, and earned value management.=0D =0D · Demonstrated knowledge of program financial management.=0D =0D · Demonstrated experience in managing and negotiating requ= irements in a government-contracting environment.=0D =0D · Expertise in project management tools including MS Proje= ct=0D =0D · Leadership, communication, and personal skills commensur= ate with the role.=0D =0D · High level of proficiency in MS Office tools (e.g. Excel= , PowerPoint, etc.)=0D =0D =0D =0D Residency Requirements:=0D =0D · Must be a US Citizen=0D · A valid US Passport is required=0D =0D Travel Requirements:=0D =0D · Must be willing and able to travel domestically or inter= nationally (50 %+) to support customer activities.
