MUST HAVE 2 solid years of hands on exper= ience working with Intrusion Detections Systems (IDS) – No exception= s JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- =0D 4 openings- Secret Security Clearence=0D =0D Functional Responsibility: Serves as an analyst on a network security tea= m that is responsible for providing secure solutions in both legacy and d= istributed environments. To include: =0D • Monitoring Nagios, MRTG, Internet Email, and RealSecure systems fo= r operational and security events. =0D • Follow the SOP response procedures; escalate to Senior Engineers a= nd management, as events require. =0D • Coordinate troubleshooting and problem resolution with AOUSC Netwo= rk. =0D • Monitoring security sensor health per the SOPs or under the direct= ion of Senior Engineers. =0D • Providing notification via email or phone, and at the direction of= Senior Engineers, to court units that may have systems with virus or wor= m infections. =0D • Monitoring the IDS and Hostmaster e-mail boxes for alerts, notific= ations, and other significant messages and taking appropriate action per = the SOPs. If necessary, escalating to Senior Engineers for action. Wee= kend DNS requests will be supported by the Monday through Friday support = staff, unless escalation is required. Escalation procedures will be foll= owed and on-call Unix administrator will be notified if necessary. =0D • Responding to requests or inquiries from court units using scripte= d responses or responses as directed by Senior Engineers. =0D • Initiating the AOUSC Triage Process when a hacking report is recei= ved. =0D • Collecting data and statistics for incorporation into the Daily ID= S and Hostmaster Significant Events Report. =0D • Monitor Internet email flow for possible alters and Internet email= issues.
